The Donor Concierge team is comprised of compassionate, educated, and knowledgeable case managers, with a track record of outstanding results to help families find the right donor/surrogate choice through the best industry connections. We have chosen each team member for her unique ability to relate to our clients. We have a multinational office with Canadian, Chinese, Filipino, and American case managers who speak a variety of languages including Mandarin, French, Tagalog, Spanish, and English.
Gail has dedicated her career to helping intended parents from all walks of life build families. She founded Donor Concierge as a compassionate approach to helping intended parents sort through the gauntlet of egg donor and surrogacy options. Gail is a Harvard trained counselor with 20 years of experience helping intended parents have the baby they always dreamed of.
After graduate school, Gail joined a research group in the Psychology Department at Yale University. Later, she joined a group of researchers in pediatric neurology at Yale New Haven Hospital doing developmental testing with children born prematurely of very low birth weight. Gail is also a graduate of Alice Domar’s Mind Body Fertility Program through Boston IVF and has served on a Radcliffe panel with other fertility experts. In her career in the fertility industry, Gail has been Executive Director of one of the leading surrogacy agencies and helped start two different egg donor agencies. Gail is an empathic listener who brings a calming influence to what can often be an emotionally stressful process.
A frequent speaker at fertility conferences, Gail consults with organizations creating fertility service programs. She is a former boardmember of SEEDS, The Society for Ethics in Egg Donation and Surrogacy, and the Co-Founder of TULIP, a new online platform for third party fertility. Married since 1984 with two wonderful children, Gail says having the privilege of being a mother has ignited her passion for helping others experience the joy of parenting.
Gloria Li, BA, PMP - Program Director
Gloria manages our team of case managers and heads our donor and gestational surrogacy programs at Donor Concierge. She has a unique combination of confident empathy and project management expertise, flawless precision and attention to detail. Gloria has worked in the fertility field since 2013 and is an expert on egg donation, gestational surrogacy and fertility care management. Her vision and passion for the mission that perfection is truly in the details have set a high mark in our commitment to excellence and her leadership have helped Donor Concierge rise to become the premier resource for intended parents from all over the world.
Originally from mainland China, Gloria speaks fluent Mandarin and English. She has a bachelors degree in Applied Math and Computer Science and is married with three young children.
Michelle Laurie, BJ, MSc, SRM - Marketing & Business Development
Michelle has a unique understanding and empathy for those struggling with infertility. After spending several years challenged with her own fertility issues, Michelle welcomed her son to the world. She returned to post-graduate study and achieved her Masters in Social Research Methods. Michelle is passionate about bringing people together and has a tenacious approach to research, marketing and business development.
Michelle joins us after a varied career spanning several continents. Growing up in Canada and a self-confessed ‘news junkie’, she took her undergraduate degree in Journalism and Politics and emigrated to the UK, spending over a decade as a successful television producer and journalist. She travelled the world as a Series Producer on documentaries for the BBC, National Geographic, and other international broadcast clients. Now, working with Donor Concierge brings all of her talents together to help others to fulfill their dream of a family.
Marni has extensive background in family building, having worked previously as client relations manager at a gestational surrogacy agency and as program director of newborn domestic adoptions at a private, non-profit adoption agency. As an adult adoptee herself, Marni brings a deep understanding of the complex and sensitive nature of this work.
Marni is formally trained as an attorney, with experience working as a senior court attorney on civil and criminal appeals at the NYS Appellate Division, Second Department. She holds a Bachelor of Art degree from the University of Michigan (go blue!) and a Juris Doctorate degree from Brooklyn Law School. In her free time, Marni enjoys spending time with her family and teaching as a certified yoga instructor.
Bonnie McKinney Douglas, LLB, BA PGDip - Senior Case Manager
Bonnie is a former human rights attorney from New Zealand, with experience in native land law, human rights, immigration, and commercial law. Shas has a Postgraduate Diploma in Public International Law from the University of London. Bonnie has a passion for helping people and has always sought work and voluntary positions in which she can do that. She has worked in law firms and organizations in the United States and the Cayman Islands advocating for families and children. Bonnie experienced her own infertility challenges, and had the unique experience of undergoing IVF while living in the Caribbean and traveling to Florida for treatment.
Bonnie now has two busy little boys who keep her on her toes. At Donor Concierge, Bonnie is able to combine her love of making a difference in peoples' lives and her legal skills with assisting individuals and couples to create a family of their own.
Cynthia Lim, BA - Senior Case Manager
Cynthia had an extensive marketing career with multinational retail and wellness brands while living in Asia. With her diverse global experience, she is skilled at bridging cultures and takes a practical and holistic approach to overcoming challenges.
When Cynthia decided to embark on the journey of motherhood, she had to face her own fertility issues. While working overseas, she researched donors and clinics in the US, and pursued her goal to be a parent. She now has a very active 2 year old son, and is pleased to be on the Donor Concierge team to help others achieve their dream of having a child.
Cynthia holds a BA in International Relations from the University of British Columbia. She speaks fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese. She is a yoga and fitness aficionado and also enjoys travel and foreign language films.
Krystal Lemcke - Senior Case Manager
Krystal comes to Donor Concierge with 12 years experience in third party reproduction. She is passionate about helping others on their journey to parenthood. As a previous egg donor and agency owner, she brings a unique understanding to the complexities involved with finding that perfect match.
Krystal holds a BA in English LIterature from St. Olaf College. After graduating, she joined the corporate world in Finance where she earned her CPP and CPA, which lead her to manage escrow for a leading Egg Donor Agency. Krystal lives in Minnesota with her husband and 5 children. If she has any spare time, you'll find her woodworking or gardening.
Kimberly Hennessy - Senior Case Manager
Kimberly Hennessy joins our team with over 16 years of fertility experience. She has worked at some of the most well respected fertility centers in the US working within all aspects of third party matching and client care. She understands the longing for a family and the need to be able to count on the people helping you. She is dedicated to providing exceptional care as a Senior Case Manager.
Kimberly is a mother of one child, a happy addition to her family after struggling with infertility herself. She is a current board member for OSPA, Oregon Surrogacy Professionals Association. She enjoys spending time in the outdoors, and exploring the wonderful wilderness of Oregon.
Mary Virginia Tynan, BA, MA - Senior Case Manager
Mary Virginia comes to Donor Concierge with a passion for connecting and serving children and families. Her prior experience working as a counselor allowed her to hone her skills in active listening, grief processing, and recognizing that each individual must choose their own unique path forward.
For Mary Virginia, her varied work and experiences – combined with her own personal experience with infertility – truly highlight the strength and vulnerability it takes to share your inner struggles and hopes. She strives to bring strength, compassion and empathy to her work with each Intended Parent.
Mary Virginia holds a BA in Communications Studies from Furman University and a Masters in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling from Clemson University. She is married and has two children of her own. On most sunny weekends (and some rainy ones) you can find them outside hiking, kayaking or just playing in South Carolina.
Nancy Oliver, BA, MEd - Senior Case Manager
Nancy is an educator and military spouse who has spent the past fourteen years living abroad and throughout the US.
Having experienced her own struggles with infertility, Nancy comes to Donor Concierge with a deep understanding of the challenges that individuals and couples face when navigating the hurdles of the fertility world. As an educator, Nancy honed her skills of communication, listening, and problem solving, and is ready to apply them to help others achieve their dreams of creating a family.
In her free time, Nancy enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, baking, and volunteering.
Rachael Smolen, BA - Senior Case Manager
She joins us after spending a decade living and working overseas in the corporate world. Her experiences of fertility treatment as an expat, have given her a deep appreciation for the availability of cutting edge fertility treatments in the US, and an understanding of the unique challenges faced by our international clients.
After finally welcoming a beautiful daughter, Rachael left the frenetic pace of tech and advertising to focus her talents on services for mothers and families. She brings her problem solving skills and a great sense of empathy to the role of Case Manager.
Rachael holds a BA in Art History from UC Santa Barbara. She is multilingual, speaking both French and Mandarin, enjoys hiking with her family, rock climbing, yoga, and photography.
Shannon Henderson, BS, JD - Senior Case Manager
Shannon joined Donor Concierge after practicing employment law for over 23 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from the University of Wyoming. She obtained her law degree from the University of California, Davis School of Law. Shannon is thrilled to bring her skills in advocacy and client counseling to support the journeys of intended parents in the area of third-party reproduction.
After her personal experience with infertility, Shannon now keeps busy as a mother to two young boys. She and her boys are avid travelers and are particularly fond of visiting Germany after hosting over a dozen German au pairs.
Nina McCullough, BA – Marketing Manager
Nina handles all marketing and content writing for Donor Concierge. With a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and minor in Public Affairs from UCLA, Nina's passion for health and wellness started during a college internship at a biotechnology company and was further fueled by undergraduate research on child development. After beginning her career working on PR campaigns for tech startups and large corporations, Nina joined the Donor Concierge team excited to focus on the fertility space.
Nina believes in the value of community building, and loves being able to help educate and support parents going through fertility struggles. In her free time, Nina enjoys hiking, running and playing with her dog Charlie.
Grace Yang, BA - Office Administrator
Grace Yang keeps the trains running on time for Donor Concierge. She is fluent in both English and Mandarin. After earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Grace worked for many years as a payroll administrator in a multi-national company. She is happily married with an 8 year old daughter and a 4 year old son. Through her attention to detail and emphasis on family values, she contributes a valuable perspective and contribution to support our team.
Alison Martin - Administrative Specialist, Private Client
Alison is our Administrative specialist, working with our Private Client Team. Alison handles many of the organizational tasks associated with Donor Concierge, providing research and administrative support to our team. Originally from the UK, Alison spent many years in HR before moving to the busy world of television as a production coordinator. Alison is the mother of two teenagers, enjoys looking after her three cats and volunteers her time as Treasurer of a local youth competitive gymnastics club.
Jun Feng, BA - Research Assistant
Jun Feng is a young and vibrant new member of our Asian team. Jun holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Marketing and has over 5 years of international customer service experience. Jun is a new mother of a handsome baby boy. Through her new role as a parent, Jun is passionate in bringing joy and fulfillment to our clients.
Terrell Anderson - COO
Terry joined Donor Concierge after spending his career in software and IP-based businesses in large corporate, emerging growth, and startup environments. He has served in a variety of president and general manager roles with a focus on strategy, acquisitions and strategic partnering, new product development, brand building and market launches.
Terry earned his MBA from Harvard and his BA in Communications from Houghton College. He serves on the Board of several for-profit and non-profit organizations.
Jonathan Stowe - CTO
Jon is a nationally known technology leader, serving recently as the president of Dev Bootcamp where he led the sale of the company to Kaplan Education. Earlier, Jon was the CTO and COO of Teachscape, a teacher evaluation and learning company where he developed the company’s product roadmap and built 8 products in a 4-component SAAS platform.
Jon has worked in senior technology and product roles at Pearson Education, Thomson Higher Education, and Cengage Learning and has been part of three other software companies with successful exits. Jon began his career as a software developer and interface designer and has been a self-taught programmer from age 16. Jon holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Graphics and Sculpture from the University of Connecticut.
