Step 1
Medical review by our in-house team
We'll review profiles from our network of surrogacy agencies. Our in-house medical records review team approves a small number of candidates to match with our intended parents. These are candidates who:

Step 4
Clinic approval
The surrogate's medical records are shared with your clinic for review. This can take 2-8 weeks, depending on your clinic.

You review a pre-approved candidate
Your case manager will send you a detailed profile of a pre-qualified, available candidate who has passed our in-house medical screening.
As always, we’ll answer any surrogacy-related questions you have.
Step 5
Match call and confirm match
Once records are approved, we will schedule a match call! A member of our team will join for support, and we will share a list of common questions to guide you. Within 24 hours, both you and the surrogate confirm whether to move forward; with that, you'll sign the Agency Agreement and make the first payment to secure the match.

We contact the surrogacy agency to set up a meeting
Your case manager will guide you through the step-by-step matching process, ensuring you're confident that the surrogate is the right match before making a financial commitment.
Step 6
Congratulations – your match is official!
The agency will schedule your surrogate for her medical and psychological screenings, and your clinic will make the ultimate determination on the candidate’s suitability for surrogacy at her in-person medical screening. We will continue to follow along until your surrogate receives her medical clearance, to ensure peace of mind at every stage.
After medical clearance, you proceed to legal contracts and then receive the calendar for the transfer cycle!

In a “traditional” surrogate search with an agency, you make a significant financial commitment upfront and are limited to a smaller number of surrogates. Through The Donor Concierge Model, you don’t pay anything to an agency until a potential candidate passes our in-house medical review and meets all ASRM and clinic requirements, and you’ve had the opportunity to connect with them via phone or video call.
Beyond offering more financial protection, we also answer questions about surrogate costs, offer coaching as you consider a surrogate candidate, and liaise with surrogacy agencies to ask follow-up questions about the potential matches you find most promising.
