Dr. Christo Zouves

Dr. Christo Zouves has been involved in IVF for more than thirty years, and is proud to have helped thousands of people achieve their dreams of having a family. At Zouves Fertility Center, Dr. Zouves combines the latest in cutting-edge techniques with a holistic approach to treating infertility. ZFC's state-of-the-art lab is at the forefront of technology, and in 2014, ZFC became the first reproductive laboratory in the country to be CAP Accredited in molecular pathology.
Prior to opening ZFC in 1999, Dr. Zouves spent seven years as the Medical Director of a Fertility Clinic in San Francisco. Prior to that, his history and training spans the globe.
After studying medicine at the University of Cape Town in South Africa, Dr. Zouves completed residencies and fellowships in OB/GYN and General Surgery at Royal Colleges in London, England. In 1981 he moved to Canada, where he became Canadian Board Certified in OB/GYN. He completed his training in Infertility and Reproductive Endocrinology at the University of British Columbia. In addition to publishing " Expecting Miracles," Dr. Zouves has written extensively in medical publications, including: Fertility and Sterility, American Journal of Reproductive Immunology and Microbiology, SAMJ, Journal of IVF-ET and The Journal of Reproductive Medicine.
